bumps on nose Nov 8, 2002 hi doctor, my question is is it possible that hiv could cause me to get 3 little red bumps on the bottom of my nose less than 3 days after exposure.. i also felt a wierd sensation come over me not sure how to explain it however..in the following weeks i had nightsweats, muscle aches, fever etc then i developed a rash on my forehead seborrhoic dermatitis... have you ever heard of anyone getting bumps under there nose? thank you |

 I'm not aware of bumps around the nose being indicative of recent HIV infection. Don't try to diagnose your HIV status based on symptoms alone: start with your risk. If you have unprotected vaginal or anal sex with a person known to be HIV infected or at significant risk for infection, then and only then should symptoms be considered a possibility. This should always be done in consultation with an expert physician. RMK | ||||||||
