 HIV transmission through exposure to blood primarily occurs through sharing injection needles for drug use. It also occurs in healthcare settings, but is uncommon. There is no evidence of transmission through casual contact (contact that doesn't include the above or sexual contact). There is no evidence of HIV transmission to children in school or daycare settings. RMK | ||||||||
