a last question
Aug 29, 2002

A met a boy-whose past is unknown to me- and we kissed by tongue(frenchkissing). I also rubbed his penis with my hand, and did him oral sex. He did not use condom. He also did me oral sex.I have to say that my teeth are a little sensitive, though that day i did not see any blood. Am I in danger?

Response from Mr. Kull

The only activity that poses a realistic risk of transmission to you is performing oral sex on your partner. HIV infected semen or pre-semen coming into contact with the mucous membranes of your mouth poses a possibilty of transmission. However, the risk of transmission through oral sex is much lower than unprotected vaginal or anal sex.

For more information, see oral sex.
