Nervous, please respond.
Mar 12, 2002

About a year ago I had unprotected sex with a girl. I have noticed swollen lymphnodes on my neck which have been there for about 8 months, and 5 light brown spots around my groin area which I've noticed only recently. Could this be symptoms of HIV?

Response from Mr. Kull

The best way to figure out your HIV status is to have an HIV antibody test at least three months after your exposure. Attempting to diagnose your HIV status based on symptoms you are experiencing is a task best left up to your medical doctor.

Please see your doctor if you have any concerns about symptoms that you are experiencing.
