| Perspective Needed. Feb 6, 2002 I am not sure if I am being overly paranoid about an experience that I had, but I need to get some perspective before I drive myself crazy. The other evening I went to a bathhouse. At the bathhouse I met another man and we began to engage in sexual activities. I performed oral sex on him, but not to the point of ejactulation AND he was wearing a condom. He performed oral sex on me and the circumstances were the same (I did not ejaculate AND I was wearing a condom). I was also the insertive partner when we engaged in anal sex. I was wearing a condom that remained securely on my penis during intercourse. I did ejaculate while I was inside of him (still wearing a condom)and remained inside of him for a while. After, we were finished I pulled out and took the condom off. But I noticed that it did not have any of cum in it! This I don't understand because it is NOT like the condom had broke or had a hole in it. And I think I am just looking for an explanation being as I had never done anything like this before and am a bit perplexed and scared. |

Response from Mr. Kull
I'm sure there could be several possible explanations for what happened, but it doesn't sound like you were exposed to HIV (that is, if you are right about the condom not breaking or tearing). Maybe there was a small amount of fluid in the condom and you just didn't notice it. It is also possible that you had an orgasm, but did not ejaculate (that does happen). A condom that doesn't break is excellent in preventing the transmission of HIV. RMK | |||
