Hepatitis C transmission
Oct 23, 2000
I recently tested positive to Gonnhorea after receiving protected oral sex (with a condom) from a woman in Thailand. I am treating the disease with antibiotics but am also experiencing abdominal pain and was wondering whether this pain could be the result of Hepatitis C (I have received vaccines for Hep A and B)? The contact occurred was two weeks ago and was the only sexual contact I have had in the past 6 months.

I'm not sure why you are jumping to a Hepatitis C diagnosis when there could be so many things causing your abdominal pain. The best thing to do is see a doctor if the pain continues.
To learn more about Hepatitis C and its transmission, refer to my response to Sexual Partners/Both Hep C. It is highly unlikely that you got Hepatitis C from receiving protected oral sex.
