Very Worried -- Blood in excrement; Symptom of HIV infection? Nov 10, 2000 I have been experiencing blood in excrement after a possible hiv contact infection.There was no diarrea and I am worried if this could be a symptom of HIV. I've also been experiencing a cold but no fever at all. Thanks for your answer |

 Blood in your stool should always be checked out by a doctor. I am not aware of any information that states that blood in stool is a symptom of HIV infection. Do not try to diagnose this yourself. RMK | ||||||||
