| TESTING Nov 17, 2000 YOU HAVE SAID THAT SYMPTOMS OF HIV WILL APPEAR IN THE FORM OF FEVER, ACHES, HEADACHE BUT NOT AS SNEEZING, COUGHING ETC. IS THERE ANY ARTICLE ON THE NET TO SUPPORT YOUR STATEMENT? WILL THERE NOT BE EXCEPTIONS WHEREBY A HIV POSITIVE CAN DEVELOP SYMPTOMS WHICH INCLUDE COUGHING, SNEEZING ETC? WITHOUT ANY APPARENT CUTS OR BLEEDING ON THE PENIS, URETHRA WILL BE THE ONLY ENTRANCE FOR THE HIV VIRUS. DOES IT MEAN THAT URINE WILL BE ABLE PURGE IT OUT OF THE SYSTEM? THANKS |

Response from Mr. Kull
Here are two links to support my statement: Acute Retroviral Syndrome: Associated Signs and Symptoms:Table XIX Medical Management of HIV Infection: Chapter 1, Part 3 Those links will present data showing the symptoms observed in patients experiencing primary HIV infection. That doesn't mean people won't experience coughing and sneezing during primary infection. Those symptoms just haven't been observed. I have not been able to locate any information that suggests urine will purge HIV from the urethra. RMK | |||
