Advertisement Response from Dr. Frascino Hi Chester, Why do I think Republicans are such wingnuts? Gosh, I could list hundreds of reasons beginning with "Dubya," Palin and Cheney. But they are old news. How about the apoplectic lunatics screaming nonsense at the recent health care town hall meetings, or the "birthers"?!? As Charles Blow in a recent article in The New York Times pointed out, a Daily Kos/Research 2000 poll released last Friday found that 28 percent of Republicans don't believe that Barack Obama was born in the U.S. and another 30 percent are still "unsure"!!! That's nearly 6 out of every 10 Republicans refusing to accept reality! But why should that really shock us. A Gallop poll last summer found 6 in 10 Republicans believed humans were created in there present form 10,000 years ago! YIKES! You really can't make this shit up! Let's face it: the GOP is not a party of Einsteins. In fact a Pew poll last month found only six percent of scientists said they were Republicans!
