Hi, dr Bob. It's the bulgarian med student writing again. I just wanted to update you on my concerns about possible acute retroviral syndrome. On the 5th month following my risky exposure, I tested again with Insti rapid hiv1/2 test. Thanks God, it came back negative with one nice blue control dot.
I wanna say to all - symptoms are not reliable for predicting a HIV infection. Rash, some low grade fever, lymphopenia, some tonsillitis, fatigue - and voila - negative test...
Greetings from Bulgaria.
