Yes, though the risk is most directly related to the viral load in the mother during pregnancy and delivery, not the father. If you are considering this option, I would strongly urge you to talk to your HIV care provider and ask for his/her opinion of the risk in your particular situation and if necessary for a referral to someone with experience in this field. Even with the best available medical advice and treatment managment however, it is impossible to guarantee you that you will have an uninfected baby.
