|Xenadrine - does it work
Aug 18, 2000
Xenadrine (contains Pantothenic acid - 40mg, bitter orange -85mg, ma huang - 335 mg, guarana extract - 910mg, white willow bark extract - 105mg, ginger root - 50mg, tyrosine, actyl l-carnitine, fisetin, magnesium phosphate, DMAE, calcium phosphate, talc, gelatin, magnesium stearate) has been recommended to me to help lower high cholesterol. I really don't need to lose weight though... Should I really start taking this?

Don't know. Most of these multi-ingredient products have multiple claims attached but little or no research to back up the claims.
Talk to your doc, try to see a nutritionist (a cholesterol lowering diet does not have to promote weight loss), exercise, etc.
