Dear Nelson, I have been hiv positive for about three years and a half and on meds for one year and a half. I am undetectable, about 500 cd4. My doctor will not speak about supplementation and I have no other choice, so I started taking supplements on my own research -you have been of great help- and take l-carnitine, coenzyme q10, fish oils and super nutrition opti-energy pack for vitamins and minerals. My question is about the amount of l-carnitine and coenzyme q10 I should take, is 200 mg q10 and 2 gr l-carnitine a convenient amount? I have nobody else to talk to about suppements as I said.
Thanks in advance and in health.
Response from Mr. Vergel
You are taking what I am taking. Yes, those two doses are perfect based on heart benefits and prevention of muscle related weakness/loss.
