|Neuropathy in the feet
Oct 23, 2013
Thanks for your recent comment on the positive effects of exercise on neuropathy. I have a close friend who suffers a great deal from neuropathy in his feet. Any suggestions on what type of exercise might help him?

Any exercise that does not involve feet is helpful. It seems that the benefits on pain are there assuming that it is moderate or light exercise and no overtraining is done. I would avoid stair masters and treadmills. Resistance exercise with machines (upper and lower body)can be safely performed without using feet.
