Supplements and HIV medication
Mar 24, 2013

I am on Kivexa and Viraimmune, age is 58 healthy and with an undetectable viral load. I have recently joined the gym, but suffer from low sexual performance and wondering if I could mix with my medication Creatine 19 Anabol Testo, ZMA, Virectin, Horny Goat Weed, Maca, B12, Korean Ginseng and Guarana.

Response from Mr. Vergel

19 Anabol Testo, ZMA, Virectin, Horny Goat Weed, Maca are not shown to work for anything. Save your money and your liver.

Guarana is caffeine, so be careful about affecting your blood pressure, heart rate or sleep quality. Ginseng can also be stimulating, but seems harmless and probably useful in increasing energy.

For creatine, make sure your kidney function is good:

If you suffer low "sexual perfomance", have your doctor check your blood levels of testosterone and thyroid hormones.
