Single mama what do I do??
Jul 8, 2012

I am a single mom of an eight year old boy who is my whole life. My boyfriend is HIV positive. I really want us to have a good sex life but I am deathly afraid of becoming infected. He is promising that with a condom AND colitus interruptus I will be totally safe. Please tell me is this true???

Response from Mr. Vergel

Yes, it is true. Also, if his viral load is undetectable, his chances to infect you are small even if the condom breaks. He has to take his HIV medications as prescribed and go to see the doctor every 3-6 months to ensure that his HIV is controlled.

Do not walk away from a good man due to fears, but ensure that a using a condom and his virus control are both conditions he should meet.
