Lowered sex drive with mid-level testosterone level? Nov 22, 2011 I've been on testosterone therapy for several years. Lately, my levels seem to be around 600 or so (free), and I'm using Testim. My body didn't seem to like the injection method after a while, so we switched. I've experienced extremely high sex drive under the injection a long time ago, but these days I notice that if my levels are up there, I have virtually no sex drive. If they are allowed to lower, my sex drive is a little better. What gives? |

 It would be good to find out how much of that testosterone is free (unbound) and how much estradiol you have in your blood. These two factors can affect sex drive, among others. You may also want to read this article I wrote: What is testosterone is not enough? Nelson | ||||||||
