androgel or nebido
Sep 26, 2011
nelson hello'm going to start hormone replacement therapy systems which I recommend to start? Nebido am among androgel or intramuscular injection which is the advantage and disadvantages of each option?
Response from Mr. Vergel
Nebido is a big injection of testosterone undecanoate that enables testosterone blood levels to be elevated for 2-3 months after one single shot. So, it is good for people who hate daily application. But it does not mimic the physiological blood levels that our testicles produce.
Gels like Androgel are applied to the skin once a day to attain physiologic levels.
Costs per month are about the same.
Nebido is not yet approved in the Unites States. It will be called Aveed here.
