hypogonadism Jul 6, 2011 nelson hello greetings from Venezuela! am HIV patients treated for 1 year achieved undetectable and CD4 654, a year ago (before starting therapy) my total testosterone and free testosterone was 423ng/dl 7.6pg/ml, then a year of hormone treatment are my results: * Total Testosterone: 279ng/dl (range: 241-827) * Free Testosterone: 6.25pg/ml (range: 8.8 -27.0) * SHBG: 31.6 nmol / l (range: 13-71) * FSH: 2.37 (range: 1.4 - 18.1) * LH: 3.39 (range: 1.5 -9.3) * Estradiol: 21.3 (range: 11.5 - 41.0) * Prolactin: 11.67 (range: 2.1 - 17.6). the doctor looking at my reviews point I suffered secondary hypogonadism, and want to start therapy with testosterone gel (AndroGel). nelson you think about my results and recommended therapy by the doctor? |

 Yes, I would start a testosterone gel or even human chorionic gonadotropin- HCG (gonadotropina corionia humana) to improve your total and free testosterone. In Venezuela, you guys also have available a great product called Nebido (testosterone undecanoate injections) that can be used every 3 months. My book "Testosterone: A Man's Guide" is now translated into Spanish. It is available by Kindle and soon by print.
