body image problem Apr 26, 2011 i am currently taking lamivudine, zidovudine and nevirapine. Im 41, short asian guy. No matter how religious my working out, people seem to observe that Im getting "smaller" especially my face. It really pulls down my self esteem. Hence, I am beginning to be apprehensive meeting my friends, new people, going out and having fun. I know these are not healthy for a poz like me...for these reasons I seek your advice...I was diagnosed a month ago...CD4 353. |

 Is there anyway that you can talk to your doctor and have him or her switch you from zidovudine to abacavir or tenofovir? That could stop the subcutaneous fat loss. Nelson | ||||||||
