|synthetic vs natural testosterone therapy
Feb 12, 2011
Hi Nelson. I bought your testosterone book - great read. I had my blood levels checked and DHEA was low and Testosterone was low normal. MD has prescribed dhea but rather than prescribing synthetic testosterone, wants to prescribe bio-identical hormone therapy. From what I can see this is a naturally derived version. Do you have any experience with this or can you comment on this versus the synthetic version?
Response from Mr. Vergel
No matter what they say, bioidentical testosterone has the same stuff that the pharmaceutical grade product has. What he meant is that he uses compounding pharmacies to make testosterone gels, which work as well as Androgel and Testim but at a 10th of the cost.
