Lab work today
Sep 25, 2010

I just got my lab work today and don't really understand it at all. Is the Absolute cd 3 my T cell count? I have been taking Bactrim for almost 4 years now and I keep hoping I could get off it, But I'm told my Absolute is low -200 and I should not worry about it. Is there anything I can do to get it higher?

Response from Mr. Vergel

T cells are absolute CD4 cell count.

You did not tell me if you were taking HIV medications, though. The best way to bring CD4 cells up is by using HIV medications to bring your HIV viral load down to undetectable levels in your blood.

low levels of efavirenz
would TB play a rule on this?
