Sep 1, 2008

hiya Nelson, ive been positive for a year!( not on meds).i guess im an average build and height 6ft and 78kg( but i feel soo FAT). i want to get involved in exercise but dont have the means (broke, unemployed)I jog for an hour every moring and i have now started jogging at night for an hour aswell...is that enough exercise. I want to get super thin..im emo. never want to go near weights(yuk). Do you think it would be possible to do even more cardio?????

Cheers Drew xxoo

Response from Mr. Vergel

Drew

I think you are doing more than enough cardio exercise. If you do too much, your immune system may be impaired. There have been studies of joggers who get increased upper respiratory infections when over training, so be careful. And why do you want to be super-thin? That is not a great thing to be if you are HIV positive since you may need a little extra weight if you happen to have diarrhea or any infections in the future.

Just moderation, my friend!

Nelson
