| Weights versus Cardio Aug 13, 2008 Hi! I have been taking Combivir and Stocrin for over 5 years, but have now since 3 weeks back, changed to Kivexa and Stocrin. About 4 months back I started to work out at the gym, 3-4 times a week. I have managed to get back into shape and lose the fat around my stomach. With this new medication, is there anything I should think about when training? Is there any risk that my bodyshape will change? I really want to tone my body and lose some more fat. Is there any a risk in putting quite a lot of pressure on my body when excercising? Anything else I should think about? Thank you! // Louise ( Stockholm, Sweden ) |

I am sorry that it took me a long time to answer Kivexa has Abacavir and Epivir. Those two drugs are not linked to body changes. I would exercise regularly like everyone else. Work out with weights and machines 3-4 times a week for an hour and do light cardio for 30 min until you sweat, 3-4 times a week on alternating days.
