Gaining Weight
May 14, 2008

Living with HIV for a long time what can I do to gain weight. What can I take. I am 5'7" weigh 159/160 lbs I want to gain at least 10 lbs I am a black female.

Response from Mr. Vergel

Your weight seems normal for your height. If yuo want to gain more lean mass (not aft), work out with weights and machines 3-4 times a week for an hour and try to eat 4-6 snacks a day with lean protein, good fats, and fiber (natural peanut butter, eggs, cheese, nuts, salmon, lean beef, chicken, whey protein shakes, hummus, tofu, vegetables and fruits)
