| Exercise & raised liver enzymes Apr 11, 2008 My CPK levels were particularly high at my last blood count. My alt & ast were also elevated. Is it possible for all of these results to be elevated due to muscle damage caused by heavy exercise? |

Response from Mr. Vergel
Heavy exercise can increase CPK levels, so do not do so the night before your fasted blood work. Also, talk to your doctor about other potential causes for increased liver enzymes: medications, hepatitis A, B or C, supplements, etc | ||||||||||
