Doctor, I hope to get an accurate and scientific conclusion from you to clear my confusion. It has been 21 months away from my last HIV exposure--unprotected sex with a high risk man, as I am an university student I haven't gone to do HIV test till now even though I had been had lots of HIV acute symptoms and with very sore pharynx for nearly 18 months, I only went to the ENT doc, doc gave me some iodic mouth tablet and advised me to take some propolis liquid made from beeswax to improve my immunity as he thought my immune system lost balance...hearing it I thought of HIV...After taking propolis liquid for one month my sore pharynx relieved much, now I have the courage to do HIV antibody test, but it is said propolis liquid can kill HIV and reduce HIV reproduce. In order to get accurate test result, should I stop taking propolis liquid for some time before I take HIV test? have you ever seen reports propolis liquid will affect HIV test accuracy? pls let me know your ideas of it,thank you!

Propolis will do nothing to HIV. Go get tested for HIV. You can do this at any local HIV non profit organization without having to disclose your name.
