Response from Mr. Vergel
First of all, cut your sweets and pasta down. Refined carbohydrates can increase triglycerides substantially. You may want to try some Omega 3 oil capsules at 1000 mg/day (ask for brands that do nothave a fishy after taste and always take the capsules in the middle of meals, not at the end). Carnitine at 2000 mg/day may also help bring triglycerides down. Keep exercising. If nothing else works, ask your doctor for a prescription for Tricor, a fibrate that is pretty effective for lowering triglycerides. Nelson | ||||||||||
