| protein supplements Feb 2, 2004 Hi Nelson, my question has to do with protein supplements. I hear all this talk about Juven, Resurgex and Betagen. First off, what exactly are these supplements and how do they differ from the 25g whey protien isolate that I currently take at meals? |

Response from Mr. Vergel
Juven and Betagen are aminoacid products that do not contain protein. Juven has arginine, hmb, and glutamine. Betagen has creatine, hmb and glutamine. Resurgex has protein plus vitamins and minerals. Juven and Resurgex can be obtained through some Medicaid programs (NY, CA) The only one with a little published HIV data is Juven so far. I like all of these products, but the cost of Juven and Resurgex can be prohibitive to some. Betagen is more of a muscle voluminizer (it makes me feel "pumped" and a little stronger). Resurgex seems to have lots of micronutrients that may be good for the immune system. I wish they had published HIV data to back up their claims. nelson | ||||||||||
