| calf/bicep Jan 13, 2004 i'm on combivir and keletra in my 2nd year since becoming poz and i was also put on 200 mg of deca durabolin plus 100 mg of depo-testosterone every 2 weeks because i have been having trouble with my weight since i was infected. my question is why are my arms now so much bigger than my legs? specifically, my biceps measure 14 inches around while my calves measure 12 inches around. it looks very strange. is it normal? i seem to remember reading that calves are supposed to be thicker than biceps/triceps. i work my whole body very well in the gym, but the calves keep thinning and the arms remain the same. is this because i use my legs more during the day (walking around, etc)? i cannot even wear shorts anymore, and it is very embarrassing whenever anyone sees my legs. help! |

Response from Mr. Vergel
Some of us have a certain genetic predisposition to developing certain body parts better than others. I do not work out my calves and they are 19 inches big! You may want to find an experienced exercise trainer to get some good tips about what is best for your different body parts. Also, keep in mind that AZT has also been implicated in fat wasting (lipoatrophy), and lipoatrophy tends to show up a lot faster on the legs in many of us. The deca durabolin/testosterone combo should help you. Also, look at this great web site for exercise information http://www.exrx.net/Lists/Directory.html nelson exercise site | ||||||||||
