Response from Mr. Vergel
Why would you want low fat, high starch foods?(Most would increase your insulin levels and resistance by themselves) What you need a balance diet that is rich of foods with good fats, high protein, and high soluble and insoluble fiber. Protein/good fats: tuna, salmon, lean beef, white chicken and turley meat, nuts (almonds, pecans, etc), rice/beans. Fiber: fruits and vegetables (all colors), oats, wild rice, muti grain breads. Oils: canola and olive. nelson vergel | ||||||||||
