| peanut allergies Oct 11, 2003 Hi Nelson I know many people both HIV positive and negative alike have peanut allergies. What I want to know is if individuals who were once HIV negative become allergic to peanuts after they become infected with HIV. I guess anyone could become infected to something later in life, but is this something we see in HIV positive people especially? |

Response from Mr. Vergel
Not really. I have seen some data that shows that we may develop more lactose intolerance but I have seen anything that points to peanut allergies. Of course, allergies may increase in an overactive immune system. Nelson | ||||||||||
