Super low test levels
Oct 5, 2003

Yikes- my test levels came back. It's only 119! My doc suggested androgel and Oxandrin. But Pacific Care may not cover it. Any suggestions for lower priced alternatives?

Response from Mr. Vergel

Testosterone injections are the most economical. A 10 cc bottle of testosterone cypionate may run anywhere in the $40-$80 range (you need one cc every two weeks) Get your testosterone up first above 500 nanograms per deciliter. Have your doctor check your testosterone one day before your third injection to see where you are and to adjust the standard 200 mg /every two week dose up if needed.

Oxandrin used by itself will decrease your testosterone even more. It is an anabolic steroid and should always used with testosterone. Just make sure that your doctor does not make a typical mistake of underdosing you. Oxandrin's dose should be 20 mg/day and up. Monitor your liver enzymes since , like all oral anabolic steroids, it can increase liver enzymes (no matter what the manufacturer may tell your doctor)
