I started steriod treatment 2 mos ago and my doctor wanted to limit me to Decadurabolin. At 200 ml per week, I am putting on weight and have stopped wasting. Up from 135 to 147lbs.
I work out ( chest / back), arms and legs 3x per week.
I am feeling great, thanks.
What sort of steriod cycle should I maintain - 12 wks on, how many off - ?
GulfSouthRx offers your book on its Website but has none in stock....
2. How do you motivate yourself to keep living when the treatment can be so awful? I don't mean to invade your privacy and you can answer hypothetically.
Finding this site was a gift from God.

I have stayed on deca durabolin at 200 mg every two weeks for several years with no side effects (my liver, lipids, prostate, red blood cells are all good). I also supplement it with 200 mg of testosterone every two weeks (both products in the same injection)
Fear motivates me ! I work out, eat well, read all I can, and try to manage stress to avoid having to go through problems later. I love my life and do not want to get sick or die. HIV has been a mixed blessing for me. I travel all over lecturing and meeting great people. I do not miss my life before HIV (chemivcal engineering). But I still hate taking so many pills and having side effects like diarrhea and fatigue.
So far so good. I have developed resistance to all oral HIV drug approved classes, but I am hanging in there with higher dose Kaletra+Epivir+Viread+Invirase. I am very excited about the entry inhibitors coming up in 2 years that we will be able to take by mouth (not injections like T-20). We just need to do all it takes to stay healthy for the day when this virus can be completely controlled ! Nelson
