Response from Mr. Vergel
As you know, supplements can not substitute for HIV medications. But a good intake of selenium (200 micrograms/day), Vitamin E (400 units.day) and B-vitamins (50-100 mg a day each)is essential for glutathione production and good immune response. Also, a diet with proper amounts of protein and vegetables is key to sustaining good levels of lean body mass and getting enough micronutrients. I am sorry that there is not much more you can do besides bringing HAART to manage HIV infection. There are many scams out there that promise to treat HIV without drugs, so be careful with those claims and research them very well before you spend any money on them (send any questions to us at thebody.com) Nelson | ||||||||||
