I'm on a slew of medications and when I have to go the bathroom, I have to go immediately, even with a firm stool. Are there any exercises that can strengthen the anal sphincter muscle, posibly giving me more control over my bowel movements?

Although this is not my area of expertise, you may want to squeeze your anus frequently while you are sitting down. This exercise has also been recommended for men with erectyle dysfunction.
