Butt Gone!
Apr 11, 2009

I have been on lots of drugs since I have been positive since 1986. What are the options for fixing my butt? The drugs have made it disappear.

I have a whole page on this subject on facialwasting.org

Currently, solid silicone implants are the only option available in the US. It requires a painful procedure and sometimes the results do not look too natural.

Some HIV+ people are traveling to Puerto Vallarta to get their butts injected with PMMA with what seem to be good results. Of course, we do not know what the long term risks are yet.

This is one of the least talked about issues of lipoatrophy that need to be addressed and researched. I know people that cannot sit for more than 30 minutes in unpadded chairs due to their buttock wasting.

Some use butt enhancing underwear that help to cushion while they sit. A popular web site is http://buttforyou.com/
