gaining weight
Apr 11, 2008

Can you suggest any way to gain weight. I lost quite a bit of weight on a regemin which included d4t. I know d4t reeks havoc on metabolics but now that I am off that drug what is the most effective way to try to reverse the damage (I have sent away for your book " built to survive".

Response from Mr. Vergel

We have some limited data on the use of a supplement called Juven that has arginine, HMB and glutamine. You can also try to supplement your diet with one or two shakes a day of whey protein (any cheap one) with fruits. Be careful if you are lactose or milk product intolerant. You can also talk to your doctor about using Oxandrin or nandrolone, two commonly used anabolic steroids proven clinically for treating HIV related wasting. Let me know if you have any more questions after you read my book: Built to Survive.
