vitamins ! pill taking habit ?

Dear nelson,
my doc has prescribed a lot of vitamins,i belive it is more so to get me into the habit of taking pills, he is sure i will get a good respone once i start meds
all i get from the net is "beneifts not conclusive"
this puts me of.
here in india the max dose of SELENIUM is 150 mcg
should i take two pills as you often recommend 200 mcg
thank for your help
p.s i rarely miss a dose

That is a great idea not used in the US to test adherence before you start HAART. I am glad you are taking your doses as prescribed. It takes great adherence to maximize the benefits of HAART.
Selenium is one of the cheapest and most beneficial supplements studied in HIV. The 200 microgram/day dose is the one used in all studies performed at the University of Miami by Dr Marianna Baum. I am not sure what the implications are if you take 150 mcg instead of 200 mcg.
