nausea with multi vitamins
May 26, 2003

I am 35 years old, 5'2", 105 lbs. and never have been pregnant. I have tried a perscribed multivitamin from my GYN/OBN and an over the counter. I have tried every way to take this vitamin and always become nauseous and in almost all cases vomit. I have taken with no food, with food, with juice, with water. Always the same result. When I take Calicum vitamins and folic acid vitamins separately with just water in the mornings I am fine. I am interested in the benefits of a multivitamins both on going health wise and metabolism. Please advise what could be an issue or how to best take these vitamins. Thank you.

Response from Mr. Vergel

I am sorry you are having such a hard time with vitamins. Have you tried taking them in the middle (not at the end) of meals instead? What are you taking? You may be overloading your stomach also. Multivitamin supplementation may help with many health related issues. I hope you can find a way to take them without problems. Sometimes , taking them with thick liquids helps me when I feel nauseous.
