I love the following three cheap devices

1- An exercise (medicine) ball and elastic bands. You can get one at $14 at Target or any retail store. Make sure it comes with its own pump

You can use these work outs: http://www.myfit.ca/exercisedatabase/search.asp?muscle=Ball&equipment=yes

2-I love the chin-up (pull-up) bars that you can install on door frames. Here is one that you do not have to install and you can move around:

3- Get yourself a cheap pedometer in any store to make sure you wear it from the moment you wake up til you go to bed. Ensure that you reach close to 10,000 steps a day for best aerobic capacity

Here is one I like:

4- Some people love this push up device

5- You can get cheap dumbells at sporting good stores or going to Craigslist.org to buy used equipment at really good prices

As you can tell, you do not have to spend too much money for a full body work out at home.
