mini stepper to gain muscle please answer?

hi im a 27 yr old positive female & looking to gain weight as have lost a bit since being on meds not much but a little. my question is i would like to exercise without losing weight just gain some muscle & tone up my bum & legs & arms. if i used a twist & step mini stepper with the bands for my arms aswell would this do the trick im not looking to lose weight just gain a bit of muscle & exercise? thanks.

Yes, that would probably work if you do it 4 times a week for an hour and making sure that the resistance you use only allows you to do ten reps with the bands.
Also try to eat mofe frequent meals with protein, vegetables and good fats
