wasting with no defense
May 2, 2003

Hi Nelson

John here. Ok, another question for you: I notice my wasting is all over, but mainly in places where my weight lifting doesn't defend, like certain parts of my forearms, inner quads, knees, elbows, face - because these are tissues my body has developed since puberty, and lifting weights doesnt really have much to do with certain parts of these areas. so what im wondering is, will beginning my cycle of deca, and testosterone help to preserve these areas, or will it only allow me to build more muscle in my muscle build-able areas? this is a very important question for me. by the way, what do you think about using winstrol half way through my 10 week cycle at 50 mgs a day for the remaining 5 weeks?

Response from Mr. Vergel

Using anabolics while you are engaging in a resistance exercise program may help you gain lean tissue in most body parts, specially the ones you work out. I would be careful with Winstrol and your liver enzymes at that dose (I am assuming you are talking about the oral form not the injectable)Some bodybuilders use it for "cutting" purposes, so it may increase lipoatrophy considerably. Talk to your doctor about this.
