Response from Mr. Vergel

Try to eat a well balance diet with low sweets, lots of vegetables and fruits, nuts and lean meats. Exercise at least 3 times a week for an hour combining cardiovascular exercise and weight training.

To get motivated, try to find a friend who is willing to buddy up with you through this whole process. You guys can call each other and make sure you show up to the gym. You need support through a life style change. Try to join support groups at your local HIV non profit agencies to hear from others about their life style enhancing changes.

It is not easy to do this all by yourself. But if you are highly motivated, you can get in shape and feel great. But it takes time and patience.
