| Hmmm, just wondering Apr 26, 2001 Dr. Shernoff, When people get very sick and recover does that change them in positive ways or do we all pretty much have default personalities? Like this, if someone is self focused before aren't they the same after? I'm asking because he seems even more so and I'm thinking since he's healthy again his selfishness and deceptiveness isn't going to go away. |

Response from Mr. Shernoff
People deal with their illness exactly as they dealt with all other aspects of their lives prior to becoming ill. Being diagnosed with a life threatening illness never changes a person from being selfish to Mother Teresa. Michael Shernoff, MSW | |||
