| Feeling positive Jan 11, 2009 I have never felt negative. Even after finding out that I was positive 2 months ago. I still feel the same. My viral load was 47000 and my cd4 count was 240. I have always been healthy and energetic. I started atripla on Oct 6th. maybe postitive for 2 years. I still feel great and no changes. My next appointment is on the 19th of november. I'm fit, healthy and continuing the same lifestyle I have now. I have no drug resistance. I would rather not have HIV, but, can I still live the same lifestyle I do now? I work at 3am, only get 6 hours of sleep, drink 2 vodka drinks a night and have some occasional stress with a teenager living at home. NOthing has changed. Should it? |

Response from Dr. Horwath
Many people with HIV infection live very healthy and positive lives, as you do and should continue to do. I would recommend cutting back on the vodka and getting more sleep, but I wish you continued health and happiness! | ||||||||||
