| blood in nail Jan 11, 2009 I went to test adipose in my blood at a local clinic. After coming out I saw no blood im my hand but 4-5 hours after that I noticed redness like dried blood in my long nail. Then I was scared about hiv if I rubbed eyes or picked nose from that.I fear it's blood from objects I touched after coming out of clinic . I also read it can't transmit via environmental surface but still want to share this frustration to someone. No risk right? Thank you |

Response from Dr. Horwath
HIV cannot be transmitted by contact with environmental surfaces. There is no risk associated with touching things. | |||||||||
