blood in nail
Jan 11, 2009

I went to test adipose in my blood at a local clinic. After coming out I saw no blood im my hand but 4-5 hours after that I noticed redness like dried blood in my long nail. Then I was scared about hiv if I rubbed eyes or picked nose from that.I fear it's blood from objects I touched after coming out of clinic .

I also read it can't transmit via environmental surface but still want to share this frustration to someone. No risk right? Thank you

Response from Dr. Horwath

HIV cannot be transmitted by contact with environmental surfaces. There is no risk associated with touching things.
