Response from Dr. Horwath
The best thing you can do is let her know that you will be there for her if she needs you. A common fear with HIV is the fear of being abandoned and left alone. If you reassure her that you will remain available as a friend, that is very valuable. Some people people feel anxious when visiting a doctor. You can ask her if she'd like you to join her or what else she may find helpful. | ||||||||||
