I have only been with him and he has only been with me For six years. I have been diagnosed with tric. How could this be if it has been just the two of us for 6 years?

Trichomonas is spread by sexual transmission. There is no way for you to get Trichomonas except by having sex with an infected partner. Men are usually not symptomatic when they have Trichomonas. One of you must have contracted it from someone else.
