Redish Spots on chest and back
Dec 19, 2006

In 1986 I was diagnosed as HTLV-111 Positive (HIV) during a routine screening in the Armed Forces. I have not had any major changes in my health other then depression (I am taking paxel). Now 20 years later, I started getting red spots on my chest and arms. When they appeared, they were painful, pussy, until I cleaned the area. After it cleared, a reddish spot was born. Could this be KS. Don't you think it's about time for me to start getting sick or should I continue to jump in aw that I lived this long. Again, I am not taking no meds at all.

Response from Dr. Horwath

You need to see a doctor about the rash. It can only be diagnosed by a physical exam.
